Bear Creek Stables is located in the piney hills of Quitman, Louisiana. We offer horse training services for all breeds and disciplines. Riding lessons are available to help you have better communication with your horse.  We personaly own and raise American Quarter Horses  of foundation and modern working cow horse lines.

 The main barn features eight 12 x 12 box stalls, building insulation for warmth in cold weather, personal fans at each stall for hot days, concrete walk ways, and wash rack with hot water.

50 foot round pen for starting colts.

Our arena is  100 x 300 feet. The far end is rounded so that a 150 foot round pen can be set up to train the cutting horses. The footing for our arena is a deep sand base.

The Game Refuge and Wild life area surrounds the property for miles of trail riding and training outside in natural terrain.
